Friends of the Orchestra

Friends of the Orchestra are non-playing members of the orchestra. Our Friends make an invaluable contribution by managing the many other activities that are required to ensure that we have a vibrant, successfully functioning orchestra. These activities include sitting on the orchestra executive committee, managing the front-of-house during concerts, providing refreshments during performances, managing the accounts and many other activities. Friends of the Orchestra pay an annual subscription of $50 and in return receive a ticket to each of the four concert programs for the year as well as the right to vote at the Orchestra's Annual General Meeting. As a community orchestra, Strathfield Symphony Orchestra is grateful for the support of its sponsors. In return for sponsorship, sponsors receive recognition from the orchestra in each concert program and on the website.
